Start off by watching a Slideshow - Button - Top right corner. Welcome to "Spring in the Bouverie Nature Preserve", located near Jack London's Valley of the Moon. The Bouverie Preserve is host to some 3000 kids every year and for some is the first view into how nature works. My friend Linda Josephs is a volunteer guide, she gave myself and Frances Prine a wonderful guided tour, and taught me things I never heard before. I packed both my Canon bodies, the speedy 40D and the wonderful 5D full frame. I switched between the 70-200 F2.8 lens with 1.4 converter and the 50 F1.4 on both camera bodies which is why I made two gallery's. Some of the subjects are the same but the images came out a little different. I have captioned most of the images so you can share the experience, enjoy!
